<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!--
  Sitemap INDEX.

  Why an index rather than one big file: the previous version pointed at a single
  generator endpoint that ran four database queries per request. When any of them
  was slow the whole sitemap returned an error, Google kept the URLs at
  "Discovered - currently not indexed" instead of crawling them, and the backlog
  grew every time that happened.

  Now the money pages are a plain static file served instantly and never affected
  by a database problem, and each database-backed family is its own small child
  sitemap that Google can fetch, retry and partially succeed on independently.

    sitemap-pages.xml static public pages (generated from STATIC_PAGES
                               in base44/shared/sitemapSources.ts)
    ?type=blog                 published blog posts
    ?type=strategies           published winning strategies
    ?type=grants open grants with a future deadline
    ?type=guides funder guides with real content
